Segments
-
0–5 km · 04:58
F1 Pit Building → Republic Ave → Beach Rd → Nicoll Hwy → Esplanade Bridge → Robinson Rd
You start in full darkness at 4:30 am. The only bumps are the dip at Crawford (1.5 km) and the Esplanade Bridge (4.25 km), so hold back while the field is packed.
-
5–10 km · 05:27
Robinson & Anson Rd → Keppel Rd (former Tanjong Pagar station) → West Coast Highway U-turn
From about 8 km you climb roughly 10 m onto the West Coast Highway and U-turn at 9.5 km. It is still cool, so climb steadily and watch for runners coming the other way.
-
10–15 km · 05:55
West Coast Highway descent → Keppel Rd → Anson & Robinson Rd → Collyer Quay → Marina Blvd
After the viaduct descent it is flat road between the CBD towers. Use the downhill to relax your legs rather than to bank time.
-
15–20 km · 06:24
Marina Blvd → Gardens by the Bay → Marina Barrage → Marina East Drive
This is open reclaimed land with no shade and wind straight off the sea. After the barrage, settle into an even rhythm on the long straight of Marina East Drive.
-
20–25 km · 06:52
East Coast Park cycling track (halfway) → U-turn
The park cycling track winds along the shore and is narrow, so expect congestion. Look around before you pass, and slow down for the U-turn between 24 and 25 km.
-
25–30 km · 07:20
East Coast Park service road (return) → Tanjong Rhu → desalination plant
The return leg uses the wider, straighter service road. Sunrise is around 6:54 am, and heat and humidity climb after it, so drink at every station.
-
30–35 km · 07:49
Gardens by the Bay East waterfront → Marina Barrage (inbound) → Gardens by the Bay South
This is an exposed waterfront promenade in the sun, late in the race. About 300 m on the barrage is two-way, so keep to your side.
-
35–40 km · 08:17
Marina Gardens Dr → Sheares Ave → Benjamin Sheares Bridge → Republic Blvd → Merdeka Bridge
Between 36.5 and 37.3 km the Benjamin Sheares Bridge climbs about 18 m, the biggest hill of the day. Refuel at the food zone before the bridge, shorten your stride to get over it, then recover on the way down.
-
40–42.195 km · 08:30
Nicoll Hwy (Old Kallang Airport) → Mountbatten Rd → Stadium Blvd → National Stadium finish
The course loops east around Stadium Boulevard before entering the stadium. Even when the stadium is in sight, check the distance left and hold your pace to the line.

Good to know
- From 2026 the race is the 'BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas', run by a new organiser, SG International Marathon Pte Ltd. Standard Chartered now sponsors only the 10 km. The official site is singaporeinternationalmarathon.com; the old singaporemarathon.com only has 2025 content.
- The marathon starts at 4:30 am on Sunday 6 Dec, from the F1 Pit Building, and finishes inside the National Stadium (The Kallang). The organiser advises arriving at least 1 hour before the start.
- The cut-off is 7 hours, counted from when the last starter crosses the start line. Intermediate cut-off points will be released closer to the event (not published as of 2026-10-22).
- Start pens are assigned from the predicted finish time you entered at registration and shown by the letter on your bib. They cannot be changed. Pen closing times have not been published yet.
- Bag deposit costs S$18 and must be bought at registration. Only the official bag issued at pack collection is accepted. Drop it at the Gear Bag Deposit counters at the start and collect it at the finish. Hours have not been published yet.
- On race morning, selected North-South, East-West and Circle Line sections run from 2:30 am every 15 minutes, free for everyone. The last free departures are at 4:30 am from Bukit Batok, Jurong East, Tanah Merah and Serangoon. The list of open stations is in the press release.
- Suggested drop-off points near the start are Millenia Walk, Marina Square, Suntec City Convention Centre, Esplanade and Raffles City.
- Sunrise is around 06:54 and civil dawn around 06:32 (computed with the NOAA solar algorithm), so the first two hours or so are run in the dark.
- In December Singapore's mean daily minimum is 24.3°C. Humidity peaks just before sunrise at over 90% (December mean daily maximum: 96%). December is the early wet phase of the Northeast Monsoon and the wettest month (mean 331.9 mm over about 19 rain days). The race goes ahead in light rain but may be delayed, suspended or cancelled for thunderstorms or haze.
- Positions and spacing of water, isotonic and gel stations have not been published yet (no Runner's Information Guide so far), so no aid-station POIs are listed. 100PLUS is the official isotonic sponsor, and press reports mention a food zone just before the Benjamin Sheares Bridge climb.
- Up to 200 certified first-aid 'Medic Runners' will be on the half and full marathon courses, alongside professional medical teams along the route.
- The course is mostly one-directional, except for about 300 m on the Marina Barrage that is run both ways. In East Coast Park runners go out on the cycling path and return on the service road. Official total gain is 96.1 m and loss is 94.5 m.
- Race pack collection is 3–5 Dec at Arena Park, The Kallang (5 Stadium Drive), with last entry at 6 pm on 5 Dec.
- The official map states the route is 'accurate as of 17 August 2026 and subject to change'.
Checklist
Course data
Approximated from the official course map. May differ by tens of meters.
No official GPX had been published as of 2026-10-22, so this track was traced from the official 2026 route map and elevation profile (as of 17 Aug) and aligned to OpenStreetMap roads, with a median offset of about 6 m. It measures 42.40 km (+0.48%). Elevation comes from the official profile. This is the 2026 course, not 2025, and will be replaced once an official GPX is released.
